What is Trends of the World?
Trends of the World is an AI-powered platform that continuously scans global news, research papers, and industry reports to surface paradigm-shifting trends before they go mainstream. We score each finding by disruption potential so you can act early.
How often are trends updated?
Our pipeline fetches and analyses new findings every 12 hours. Your dashboard automatically reflects the latest data on your next visit — no manual refresh needed.
What is the Disruption Score?
The Disruption Score (0–10) is assigned by our AI model. It measures a trend's potential to reshape an industry, based on novelty, market size, rate of adoption signals, and the volume of corroborating sources.
What does 'Paradigm Shift' mean?
When our model determines that a trend could fundamentally change how an entire sector operates — not just incrementally improve it — it marks it as a Paradigm Shift. These are high-conviction signals worth tracking closely.
What is the difference between the Freemium, Explorer, and Investor plans?
Freemium gives you a monthly preview of the top trends. Explorer unlocks the full dashboard with unlimited refreshes and all industry labels for €19/month. Investor adds Market Stocks data, company stock tickers per trend, and direct Yahoo Finance links for every finding for €49/month.
How do I upgrade my plan?
Go to the Subscribe page or click 'Upgrade' from your Account page. You'll be taken to a secure Stripe checkout to complete your subscription.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, at any time. Head to your Account page, click 'Manage Billing', and select 'Cancel plan' in the Stripe billing portal. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Is my payment information secure?
All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider. Trends of the World never stores or has access to your card details.
What is the Market Stocks feature?
Available on the Investor plan, the Market Stocks button on each trend card shows the most relevant publicly traded companies associated with that trend, including stock tickers and a direct link to Yahoo Finance for live quotes.
How do trend alerts work?
Investor-tier members can trigger an email alert containing their current Top 3 trends by disruption score. Click the 'Alerts' button in the dashboard header to send the digest to your registered email address.
What industries are covered?
We currently cover Healthcare, Finance, Technology, Energy, and Construction. Coverage expands as our data sources grow.
